Maria Bird is a seasoned hairdresser with over 30 years of industry expertise. 

 

Her journey began as a passionate individual with a love for the art of hairstyling of which she still has today. 

 

Maria's dedication and attention to detail has led her to work behind the scenes at London Fashion Week, where she honed her skills as a session stylist 

Her talent has extended to the working in the film, tv and theatre industry showcasing her skill and versatility.

 

Equipped with a NVQ assessors award, Maria has not only mastered her craft but has also excelled in teaching. With two decades of teaching experience, she has imparted knowledge to new aspiring hairstylists. 

 

Now, the proud Manager of her own business “Lipstick and Gunpowder” for over 9 years, Maria prioritizes in providing a personalized one-on-one attentive, professional hairdressing experience.

 

Her commitment to excellence and to the industry continues to shine through, making her a respected figure in the world of hairdressing.

Ross discovered his passion for hairdressing at the age of 16, and since then, his dedication to the craft has propelled him from being an apprentice to becoming a salon owner.

 

He is a perfectionist and is renowned for his cutting abilities . His calm and professional  demeanour ensures that you will feel at ease and confident in his abilities.

 

Ross has diplomas in organic hair care and Indian head massage , he has a deep understanding of scalp and hair anatomy and is able to prescribe suitable formulas for your hair and scalps present needs . 

In his spare time Ross likes to train his mind and body, some of his hobbies include cooking and horticulture.
